Shelter of Love is an organization that helps orphan and children who are unable to afford education. This shelter provides a place to live, food, education, and support for children, guiding them until they graduate and secure a job.

Always facing problem before using SOGE's solar system

• In 2005, before adopting solar power, the shelter relied on diesel generators, which required significant expense. (diesel and maintenance)

• They had to constantly turn the machine on and off, and were often disturbed by the loud noise.

• Higher expense on diesel (machine 45kVA) 3,000litre in a month.

• In 2008, they began exploring solar energy and partnered with other company to install system aimed to reduce expense on diesel generator. However, they often encountered issues like insufficient power or poor system performance.

• The Shelter of Love’s leader askes SOGE to repair the broken system. Afterward, they requested SOGE to install three small solar water pump systems, them commissioned SOGE to explore implementing a solar setup to reduce diesel generator expenses.

• In 2009, SOGE repaired the broken system.

• In 2010, SOGE installed three small solar water pump systems (210W 2sets and 500W 1set), they stopped using diesel pump and switched to solar energy.

• In April, 2010, SOGE installed solar backup system 13kW (connected to diesel machine). They managed to lower the reliance on diesel generator down to 300 – 400 liters in a month.

• In 2016, SOGE installed another 9kW solar system (in all 22kW), lowering diesel down to 30 – 40 liters in a month.

• From then till today the system is still working smoothly, the shelter stopped using diesel generator, SOGE managed to connect the solar system with the electricity instead of relying on the diesel generator.

After choosing SOGE’s service, the Shelter of Love saved times, labor especially lowering their reliance on diesel generator by 90 percent.
